Since I started attending Upward Challenge many years ago, I have seen how we have gone from one small camp that had less than 40 people attending, to now having camps in North Carolina, Michigan, Alaska, and the United Kingdom.
As I write this article, we are holding our largest North Carolina Upward Challenge (NCUC) ever with more than 70 people; all of this growth has taken place in the past 4 years!
The Lord truly blesses those who seek first His Kingdom.
I have been blessed to be a part of this next generation that is being brought up into leadership cooperating with the Holy Spirit in Kingdom advancement.
And more growth is possible: we have people that the Lord has brought to NC UC who have a desire to bring it back to their home states!
Another wonderful program that has been developed in recent years is With the Wind—for people 18-30 years old.
This was developed in order to continue to provide opportunities for growing in the work of the Holy Spirit and leadership training with our post Upward Challenge age students as well as working young adults.
This too has been a rousing success and has gone from 14 participants in 2012 to 40 in 2013!
And, already there is a group of people that desire to take this program out to other locations in order to continue to grow in intimacy with God and see His kingdom on earth expanded through these young adults, many of whom have given up on the Church.
Most recently we have launched a new program called Arise.
This is a 6-week internship where young people are taught the Dunamis material, taught how to teach the Dunamis material and even direct (lead) events such as Ignite, With the Wind, and Upward Challenge.
It is also through this group of dedicated young people that PRMI is being given the opportunity to speak to youth groups.
These interns lived in community together, ministered together, and learned to discern what the Holy Spirit desires to teach, heal, or speak to a single person, a class, or a group of people.
