I want share the vision that God gave me as I was praying at the Community of the Cross in May of 2010.

It was of the crucified and resurrected Jesus Christ standing before a vast Mosque filled with Muslims all praying facing Mecca. He was standing there in glory but also with deep love for them pouring forth from Him, saying:

“I am the Way the Truth and the Life, and no one comes to the Father except through me!”

My Vision of Jesus Christ

There was great compassion and love for those present.

I saw Him reaching to them and calling them in many ways; through visions, through dreams, through the internet, through missionaries, through bibles, through all sorts of ways.

All reaching with incredible love and compassion.

Then I saw–at first one by one, and then in groups and then in even greater numbers, and then whole nations–these precious people getting up from their prayers facing toward Mecca and turning to Jesus who was welcoming them into the Kingdom of God and into eternal life.

Then I felt Jesus saying to me:

“You must love these people as I love them! You must pray for them to have their eyes and hearts opened so they may see Me whom they seek but do not know. You must pray that the eyes of their hearts will be opened, and the only way that will take place is through my love that receives them in their blindness. You must love them and pray for them to know Me as I am praying for them.”

Wow, that vision has been working on me!

It is a call to pray for an outpouring of the love of Jesus Christ. Pray that Jesus will stir a great movement of prayer for Muslims to come to salvation.

Pray that that prayer will be motivated by love.

Pray that Jesus will use all means available to reach them including using our prayers, all the resources of this ministry or even sending us as witnesses.

This is a call to pray!

As many of you already know, the Holy Spirit has called us into taking part in His project of mobilizing, equipping and deploying intercessors to overcome the demonic strongholds that are blocking the advancement of the Gospel in the World today.

I am committed to being wise in this, but also with being faithful to Jesus Christ who I am convinced called us into this work of Intercession.

So the call to all of us (including me!) who are praying down the demonic strongholds that are holding people in blindness is to do all of this in love and to have fixed in our hearts that,

“Just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be lifted up, so that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life.

“For this is the way God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.

“For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world should be saved through him.” (John 3:14-17 NET.)
