We just completed a fantastic PRMI Board Meeting and Dunamis Fellowship International (DFI) 2016 Meeting, where we commissioned a prayer team for our upcoming trip to Israel.
We had a snowstorm but the way the Holy Spirit moved was just wonderful and a great confirmation as we move into this new year.
I want to ask for your “prayers without ceasing” for the Jerusalem Prayer Endeavor coming up February 8th – 20th, 2016.
At the Dunamis Fellowship International 2016 meeting we commissioned the team of people who are going. There is a deep awareness that this is a strategic event in God’s work to advance His Kingdom.
Doug McMurry gave an amazing talk on the Kingdom of God and the role of Jewish and Christian followers of Jesus Christ in unity defeating Satan’s strongholds while advancing the Kingdom of God.
This content is essential for understanding how God is calling all of us in PRMI to be a part of these plans. Watch here:
Doug McMurry: the Kingdom basis of the PRMI Jerusalem Prayer Endeavor
In my letter on January 18, I outlined the itinerary in phases relating to the purpose for specific days.
In the following video I give more explanation, highlighting the critical focus of each of them in our cooperation with the Holy Spirit. I hope this will inform your prayers.
Praying for the phases of Jerusalem Prayer Endeavor
Although you may not be physically going to Israel, we want to keep you connected as much as possible while we are there.
The Lord may still call you to intercede for those who are going. To sign up for prayer updates for this trip please use the following link:
We urgently need your prayer covering for this strategic trip!
Also, please let us know throughout the trip if you receive any guidance from the Holy Spirit. (Those emails can also be sent to Martin at the same address.)
Consider Giving to Support
We have some members of the team who are having trouble meeting the cost.
Many have asked us why it is so expensive. Someone recently asked, “Is it because you are staying in five star hotels?”
The answer is no.
However, we are not going as a tour group of fifty to a hundred people where we would get special rates for lodging meals and transportation.
We were actually offered the opportunity to go with a tour group which would have cut down the cost to about half what it is costing now.
But we declined the offer because it would not have allowed the freedom needed to have all of the personal meetings we have scheduled or to do the work of intercessory prayer that we anticipate.
In other words, it would have undermined the very reasons we are going.
So, yes, this is expensive! But it is consistent with what God has called us to do. So please help us with the financial cost of this prayer work. We are trying to control costs by driving ourselves. We are staying in guest houses and with exception of breakfast and a few suppers will be on our own for lunches and suppers. We are trusting that as Jesus has called us to take this approach of going to do the work of intercessory prayer rather than a tour, that He will provide what is needed.
Your financial support will help to provide materials we can use to equip intercessors to be effective in the roles they are called to.
So any financial gifts that the Holy Spirit was to lead you to send to PRMI would be extremely helpful for covering the airfare and the expenses when there and also for continuing to develop this urgent work of prayer upon our return.
Thanks so much! Thank you for your prayers, your financial support and your friendship with Jesus in this great work praying for the defeat of the demonic strongholds of Radical Islam and for the advance of the Good News of Jesus Christ to the ends of the Earth.
