Every generation is tasked with the enormous call to hand the Gospel to the next generation.
PRMI takes this call very seriously and knows that it only happens through a deeper knowledge and practical understanding of the person and work of the Holy Spirit.
With that said, this summer we are excited to be hosting our second year of “Empowered: Christian Family Camp.”
The dates for the camp are: July 10-13, 2019.
We will be meeting at Riceville Valley Community Church in Asheville, NC while there continues to be renovations to the Community of the Cross.
The camp focuses on one of the six Dunamis Project teachings each summer.
This summer’s camp will center around In the Spirit’s Power, our in-depth teaching on the dynamic of cooperation with the Holy Spirit.
Children ages 5-12 will have their own teaching and equipping sessions, based on the same teaching as the adults and led by Brenda Walker (Port St. Lucie, FL).

We will also provide loving and Christ-centered childcare for children younger than five. Teens are welcome to join in the ‘adult’ teaching sessions and we will have a break-out group just for them.
A major part of this event is to see families growing closer to Jesus together!
We want families to be both equipped but also refreshed. Because of that in addition to teaching and worship, Empowered will offer opportunities for families to have some solo time together as well as private prayer ministry.
The event begins on Wednesday morning, July 10, at 9:30 am. The leadership team is hosting an optional ‘welcome’ cookout on Tuesday evening at Riceville Valley Community Church.
The leadership team has researched various lodging options for camping, and the PRMI office can provide a list of local hotels in the area. Because this event occurs in the tourism season this summer, we want to encourage people to book their camping spots or hotels as soon as possible.
Due to the amount of planning for staff and curriculum, the registration deadline for this event is: Friday, June 14, 2019.
