Ignite provides opportunity for a congregation to catch the Holy Spirit’s flame and grow in faithfulness to Jesus Christ.
You can kindle or rekindle the fires of renewal so that there may be
- deepening fellowship,
- growing faith in Jesus Christ, and
- empowerment to advance the Kingdom of God.
Ignite conveys a Biblical message that will enrich and empower the people of your church, enabling them to serve with joy.
Each Ignite event will include worship, teaching, testimonies, practical application of the teaching, prayer and community building.
Ignite events are condensed workshops, typically conducted on Friday evenings and all day Saturday.
Ignite utilizes teaching material from the Dunamis Project.

Ignite 2: Building the Body of Christ in the Power of the Holy Spirit
Engage in the dynamic of cooperating with the Holy Spirit in doing the work of Jesus Christ to accomplish the purposes of God the Father.
Practical and urgent topics will be discussed,
- How do we receive guidance from the Holy Spirit?
- How do I know that what I have received is truly from God?
- What about the manifestational gifts of the Holy Spirit?
The emphasis of Ignite 2 is the “dance of cooperation” with the Holy Spirit in doing the work of Jesus Christ.
This cooperation helps us have a balanced expression of the spiritual gifts.

Comments from Ignite participants
“At our leadership team meeting we all expressed such awe at the working of the Holy Spirit that we witnessed and experienced. Ignite will prove to be a significant Holy Spirit-initiated and led event in the history of New Life Celebration Church.
I’m coming to a fuller understanding that the Great Commission has more to do with spiritual depth than strategies and structures. It is beginning to resonate with me that the journey from conversion to transformation, from salvation to discipleship is fully dependent on the work of the Holy Spirit. I believe that it is nearly impossible to become Christ-like without saying ‘Come, Holy Spirit, come.’”

“Ignite was an important instrument in God’s continued work of growing our desire for and understanding of ministry that is empowered by the Holy Spirit. I have personally been inspired by the passion and servant heart displayed by the Ignite team not only during our initial Ignite experience, but prior to and following.”

“I found that the Ignite Team was able to effectively engage our people in a process of learning about the work of the Holy Spirit. This speaks to how they each were able to present the material in a way that was catered to our people, many of whom are brand new Christians. Several people asked ‘When is the next Ignite?’, or said ‘We need more of these.’ Even just a week ago, I heard someone else refer to Ignite as a very crucial time for us at The River. Our people were truly blessed by your presence and teaching. We are indeed looking forward eagerly to the next time that you can join us, and to an ongoing process of igniting our congregation with and by the power of the Holy Spirit.”
