Are we really in some kind of spiritual warfare?
Paul tells us in Ephesians 6:12 that “our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” What is Paul talking about, and what else does the Bible reveal about our role and God’s role in the struggle against the world, the flesh and the devil?
In this special online event, we will focus on the place of worship in spiritual warfare and kingdom advance. We are living in a time of heightened spiritual warfare where worship is under attack globally. This is not the time to back down or be timid, but a time to be more fully equipped and encouraged to engage as the Lord calls each of us.
Some of the topics covered include:
- Spiritual Warfare in today’s world
- Worship and Repentance: The Believer’s Preparation for Spiritual Warfare
- The Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of Satan
- Worship as Warfare: The Worship Warrior
- Personal Spiritual Warfare: The Battle Without
- Personal Spiritual Warfare: The Battle Within
- Worship as a Tool for Kingdom Advancement
If you are moving in the gifts of the Holy Spirit and seeking to advance the kingdom of God then you will inevitably come across spiritual opposition, whether it is subtle or direct. This course will give systematic teaching and experience of what that is and how to deal with it.

Rev. Becki Neumann
In 1993, Rev. Becki Nuemann attended “The Power of Prayer,” and went home five days later, transformed by the inner working of the Holy Spirit.
She loves Christ, loves kids, and is passionate about people coming to and deepening their faith in Jesus. Becki serves as Rector at Christ Church in South Riding, VA.
Judy Cook attended her first Dunamis Project retreat in 1994 in Alaska where she was immediately deeply engaged with the teaching that answered her need to have a scriptural basis for experiences she had with the Holy Spirit. It was such a refreshing time for her.
The years of solid evangelical Bible teaching from church on one hand, and her exciting experiences in charismatic circles on the other hand, all came together in an integrated way, providing her with a scriptural and theological grid to move forward with God.
In the years since, she has found PRMI retreats and the Dunamis community an environment suited for both challenging growth and loving support in learning to walk with God in ministry.
Rev. MJ Quick
Rev. MJ Quick has pastored in Anchorage Alaska with his wife Maria and two children Alexis and Gabby since 1999.
He is currently pastoring at Jewel Lake Church of the Nazarene where he has been since 2013. Before that he planted a church on the University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA) campus and was there for 10 years.
He was born and raised in Soldotna, a small south-central Alaskan town where his parents still live. He is passionate about Harley Davidson Motorcycles and spends much of his spare time (when the roads are not covered in ice) riding his Harley all over Alaska and the Yukon.”
If you have not attended Dunamis Project 1: Gateways to Empowered Ministry, a brief summary will be offered at “Gateways Makeup.” There you will have a chance to review the fundamentals of Dunamis and what it means to be empowered by the Holy Spirit.
It is optional but highly recommended. If you attend, you’ll get the complete manual. Please check the box if you plan to attend.
The timing of Gateways Makeup in relation to this event is still to be determined, but details will be communicated by email later.
