The past 6 months have been an unprecedented time of uncertainty, change, and disruption – COVID-19, racial and political unrest, protests, riots, furloughs/layoffs, businesses closing, children attending school from home…the list goes on and on. How has your life and the lives of your family and friends been impacted? How have you been handling all of this?
More importantly, where is God in all of this? Have you, like the Psalmist (Ps10:1), felt like asking, “Why, Lord, do you stand far off? Why do you hide yourself in times of trouble?”, or have you perhaps felt His presence even more deeply during this peculiar season?
We are all experiencing what may seem to be an unending period of crisis. The pandemic, protests, and political polarization have impacted (and continue to impact) us all. There is no “script” for handling emotional, financial, health, or relational stressors as we wrestle with a constantly evolving new reality of daily life.
Jesus promises to never leave us or forsake us.
How can we experience the presence of Jesus with us now during this ongoing period of crisis and uncertainty? How can we then minister the healing ministry of Jesus to others?
In this special online event, we’ll explore various ways that each of us may have been impacted emotionally and spiritually. We’ll spend time in community with others and have the opportunity to share our experiences and ask questions. Most importantly, we’ll listen for what the Lord is saying to us through all of this and also have the chance to receive prayer.
You’ll have the opportunity to pray with friends, experience a sacred moment or two. You’ll also have the opportunity to hear from the Lord about what He might have for you in this new era.
