We serve a faithful, absolutely reliable God. I trust that as you read this, the Holy Spirit brings to your remembrance the goodness of our Father as you discover what the Lord established at the PRMI Prayer House in 2020.

We can see how God is moving, mobilizing, and His Kingdom is moving, even in the midst of one of the most unpredictable seasons of modern history, in the middle of one of the most polarized times in American history.

I am sure that you have your own testimonies to share and I’d be delighted to hear them in the coming days.

I am blessed in many ways– one of which is having the ability to witness the progress on the PRMI Prayer House first-hand here at the start of October 2020.

New Walking Trails Around the Prayer House

Around PRMI’s 24-acre Community of the Cross in Black Mountain, North Carolina, new walking trails have been cut in higher up on the mountainside.

They are beginning to “green in” again, filling the landscapes to make it look natural again. Leaves on the more mature trees are changing with the season, filling the property with magnificent colors and vistas.

Inside the PRMI Prayer House, the drywall is up, windows and doors are in place.

The electrical power and HVAC system are ready to turn on.

We are very close to being able to power up the building, so that it can be climatized, just in time for the winter season filled with snow and rain.

Provision for God’s Vision

One example of God’s goodness is His provision.

The Covid-19 pandemic forced believers around the world to reconsider how they congregate and do life together. That may have affected your church.

We celebrate how God has undoubtedly redeemed this time, leading PRMI to create online experiences like the Virtual Upper Room, Life in the Spirit, plus video courses and live events, that have served far more people than any other year in PRMI’s existence.

God generously provided the creative guidance, leadership, prayer, and financial resources to bring it to pass.

If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!

Luke 11:13 (NIV)

Many of you have been part of God’s financial and prayer vision to bring us to this point in the construction of the PRMI Prayer House.

You have given sacrificially in finances and prayer, in spite of the pandemic.

Thank you!!!!

New Gifts Needed for October

Regarding the construction of the PRMI Prayer House, I just wrote the check for our builders’ work from September.

That check depleted our funds on hand to complete the Prayer House to under $5000 as of this writing.

Right now, we need another $25,000 for work that must be done this month.

This needed work will keep the building dry and warm while we wait on God’s timing for the rest.

It will bring us to the point where we can turn the power on and the building can have its heating and cooling system running.

We still estimate nearly $800,000 to complete the building and all the site work, furnishings.

This budget is in line with the total $1.3 million campaign you’ve may have been hearing about since January by email and US mail.

We are far from reaching this goal, but God is faithful.

He has supplied every necessary resource “just in time.” Never early, but never late. And I suspect that is His way of reminding all of us that the Prayer House is His work to complete, not ours.

Please join with us to pray in the funds urgently needed this month.

I am so grateful for the many gifts that have come in this year. And I am confident that, as we pray, listen and obey, He will meet the needs of this–His building– just in time.
