The following are praises and prayer needs for the ministry of PRMI.

Please join with us in this praise and in praying for all of these issues.

Join Us In Praising God For What He has Done

The great response to our equipping for young adults. Our Arise internship group has less than a week left. As part of their leadership training they received teaching during the first 4 weeks and have been using what they learned as they assisted in leadership of With the Wind for post-high school young adults and now with Upward Challenge for high school students.

Continued growth of Upward Challenge (UC). Reports from the Alaska Upward Challenge tell us it was another great encounter with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Registrations for the UC in North Carolina overwhelmed us. The UC in England continues to grow (pray for more students to sign up!) and this year we are launching a new Upward Challenge in Michigan.

The very successful ministry in Indonesia in which Indonesians from the GMIM denomination provided teaching to other denominations, supported by Frank Drake. How exciting to see the work multiply there.

Teaching at the Healing Dunamis leading to healing and deliverance in South Korea(see article by Tom Willcox).

Please pray for:

  • The PRMI Board meeting, August 12-14. A particular challenge at this meeting will be maintaining the fellowship and good communication that is so important, as we hold meetings over the internet instead of onsite at the Community of the Cross, in order to save money. Pray for wisdom and discernment as the Board meets.
  • Eighteen congregations that are looking at our new Growing Your Church In the Power of the Holy Spirit video course for congregations. Pray for timing and openness to this teaching.
  • Guidance about how to respond to open doors to China this fall.
  • We are seeing signs of a new wave of the Holy Spirit bringing renewal and awakening in the Northeastern part of the USA. Pray that the August 23-24 event at Montrose Bible Conference, Renewing the Legacy of R.A. Torrey, will be a spark for renewal.
