Rod Pinder discovered the Dunamis Project in about 2008. He loved it so much, he became an adjunct faculty member of the Dunamis Institute.
Since then, Rod has taught the Dunamis Project courses in Black Mountain, NC; Orlando, FL; and Lubumbashi, Democratic Republic of Congo.
He has also taught and directed the “Growing the Church in the Power of the Holy Spirit” seminar several times.
After graduation from Rollins College (BA) and Union Theological Seminary in Virginia (D.Min., Th.M.), and being ordained as a Presbyterian minister in 1981, Rod became pastor of the Falkland Presbyterian Church in North Carolina.
Several years later, he was called to be the founding pastor of Woodbury Presbyterian Church in Orlando. Dr. Pinder stayed in that position for thirty-one years, until his retirement in 2019.
In retirement, Rod has started a writing ministry. His first two books, Nasty Rumors: Can You Believe What They’re Saying about the Bible? and The (Little) Book of Love: The Story of God and You are available at Amazon. He has also started a YouTube channel, Pastor Rod.
An avid amateur musician, Rod plays guitars and woodwinds and enjoys writing and arranging music. An even greater joy in his life is spending time with family, especially his two new granddaughters.
Through preaching, teaching, music and other means, Rod has enjoyed sharing God’s love with people on every continent except Australia and Antarctica (so far).
