Director Latin American Ministries, Director Ministry Development
I discovered Dunamis in 1997 when I served on the leadership team for a track in Williamsburg VA and served as Associate Pastor with one of the co-editors and writers of the Dunamis Project.
Finally, I had a theological grid that helped me understand the person and work of the Holy Spirit. I’ve been teaching Dunamis Projects in the Americas in English and Spanish since 2007.
I have studied evangelism and church growth ever since answering telephones for a Billy Graham crusade in the 1980s, and have led countless training seminars throughout North and South America in many different denominations.
Now, I’m focused on putting the complete Dunamis project into Spanish and making it mobile.
I was involved in youth ministry for 15 years, was associate pastor at Christ Presbyterian in Richmond VA, and in 2001 helped to launch Eternity Church, an international church focused on gathering the nations to worship Christ.
I have a Master of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, Deerfield IL, and a Master of Theology from Union Theological Seminary, Richmond VA.
In 2004, I was Millard Scholar of Evangelism at Union PSCE in Richmond.
I have taught evangelism for local mission bases of Operation Mobilization, Youth with a Mission, and HIMF (based in Costa Rica), plus taught evangelism and church renewal in 9 different countries: United States, Austria, Panamá, Venezuela, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Nicaragua, and Canada.
I am an ordained pastor in the Evangelical Covenant Order of Presbyterians (ECO) and is the principal writer for EvangelismCoach.org and have written two books:
- Author of How To Welcome Church Visitors
- Author of Church Greeters 101
