PRMI has been a big part of my life since I was a child, even if I didn’t know it. PRMI was brought into my life by my grandfather, Sam Hale, and since then has made a big impact on my life and has made me who I am as a person.

My journey with PRMI started in 2016, the summer before my first year of high school, when my grandfather registered me for Upward Challenge, a summer camp run by PRMI at the Community of the Cross.

Initially, I hated it to say the least because I felt like I was sacrificing my summer for some weird Christian summer camp but before the week was over, I was crying over having to leave, wishing it was longer.

I met Jesus through PRMI and I couldn’t be more grateful for the experiences I had at Upward Challenge.

Years later I started to participate in what I called “adult events” and learned a lot from them. I started to become more invested in my faith and decided PRMI was the next step in my journey with God.

I contacted PRMI and was offered an internship and was very excited.

I’ve only been to a few Dunamis events but have learned how to understand the Holy Spirit and not to fight it. It’s been a journey working on my relationship with Jesus and learning how to move with the Holy Spirit.

I am excited to move forwards with PRMI to learn more about the Dunamis project and grow more in my faith. I have learned so much just working at PRMI and can’t wait to learn more. I would love to, in the future, work with the youth through PRMI and be a part of their young people programs.

I’m excited about my journey with PRMI and all things to come.
