Dunamis Institute Mission and Purpose

Equipping the Church for the Advancement of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ Worldwide

The Dunamis Institute is a critical Kingdom Asset as it provides the organizational structure, teaching faculty, course curriculum, and communications means to accomplish the goals that Jesus Christ has given to His first disciples and to all those who are born again: that we need to be “clothed with power from on high” in order to take part in the world changing mission. (Luke 24:46-49)

The Dunamis Institute provides the Dunamis Fellowship International with the practical means that the Holy Spirit has given us to express both the anointing as well as the mission of “Mobilizing, Equipping and Deploying Holy Spirit empowered leaders for the worldwide movement of the Holy Spirit.

Prayer Points

In the name of Jesus Christ ask for the Father to put in place all that is needed for the Holy Spirit to use the Dunamis Institute as the means of accomplishing the following essential equipping requirements for the Church’s leadership to participate in fulfilling the Great Commission:

  • Both leaders and lay people, in all churches, will become aware of and thirsty for the Father’s promise of the Holy Spirit’s equipping, offered to all called into the Kingdom of God. (Acts 2:38-39)
  • That Christians will acquire a basic personal and academic knowledge of the Bible’s teaching on the person, work and experience of the Holy Spirit. (Jeremiah 31:33-34, 1 Corinthians 12:1, Acts 4:13)
  • That the Holy Spirit will “fall upon” both individuals and congregations to become empowered witnesses to Jesus Christ. (Acts 1:4-5,8)
  • For every Christian to grow in the manifestations of the Holy Spirit for the up building of the Church of Jesus Christ. (I Corinthians 12:7)
  • Growing in the dynamic of cooperating with the Holy Spirit in all the diverse areas that Jesus calls us to as a part of His Kingdom Work for growing the Church in order to fulfill the Great Commission as His friends. (John 15:7-16)
