But the angel said to the women, ‘Do not be afraid; for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for he has risen, as he said.’
Matthew 28:5-6
These words echo down the centuries.
These words reassure us.
These words declare that our Lord, Jesus Christ, is risen from the dead.
We no longer need to fear death.
Our sin is forgiven.
We can have a relationship with God through what Jesus has done for us.
That Same Power is at Work in Our Lives
We continue to see this resurrection power at work in our own lives.
Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.
Ephesians 3:20
We pray the same prayer now that Paul prayed for the church in Ephesus:
I do not cease to give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers, that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him, having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power in us who believe, according to the working of his great might which he accomplished in Christ when he raised him from the dead and made him sit at his right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come; and he has put all things under his feet and has made him the head over all things for the church, which is his body, the fulness of him who fills all in all.

That Same Power is at Work in Ministry
We continue to see that resurrection power at work in the ministry that Jesus continues through his Church as he empowers us to extend his reign and rule.
Jesus said in John 14:12,
Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.
Jesus is Risen
Empowered by the Holy Spirit, we can do even greater works.
Thousands of people who have experienced the ministry and teaching of PRMI have discovered how to cooperate with the Holy Spirit and the joy of now cooperating with Jesus in the work of advancing the Kingdom of God.
In doing that, we take our part in Igniting the Church in the power of the Holy Spirit.
Let us be grateful that power that raised Jesus from the dead is at work in us.
