Be Thou My Vision: Inhabit our Praises-- Sutton AK
In October, 1994, Christians from many churches began our first series of the Dunamis Project in Alaska.
Since then, hundreds of members of various denominations and non- denominational churches have completed the entire Dunamis Project, grown deeper through several PRMI advanced courses, and attended a few retreats for the Dunamis Fellowship Alaska which are more loosely structured than the teaching programs.
April 25-29, 2018, we will again host a Dunamis Fellowship Alaska event - this time focused on worship.
Worship is an integral part of PRMI events, but we rarely focus on it. Our hope is that you will experience worship more deeply and more broadly, and will leave with a greater ability to respond in worship to the living God.
Since scripture reveals worship as a primary activity in the heavenly realm, we want to prepare ourselves to “fit right in” with the eternal worship environment.
Our theme is “Be Thou My Vision: Inhabit Our Praises.”
Using the framework of the ancient hymn “Be Thou My Vision,” through prayer, worship and teaching, we will ask God to prepare our hearts for more.
We expect to move from vision into praise, from praise into His Presence, and from His Presence into action.
Seeing Him more clearly is the first step of this progression. Prioritizing Him as our best thought causes all other priorities and activities to be ordered and empowered by His plans for His kingdom and our lives.
Is this event for you?
This retreat is open to anyone who wants to come. Participation in prior Dunamis events is not required, nor is this event limited to members of the Dunamis Fellowship Alaska.
- you need a fresh perspective of God:
- you want time to linger in God's presence:
- Sunday morning worship leaves you longing for more:
- your worship has become weary, distracted or mechanical:
- you lead worship and would like the chance to lay aside the leadership role for a change:
then, we encourage you to prayerfully consider joining us on Victory Mountain.
