Prayer Mountain for the Next Great Awakening

This event aims to equip individuals and small teams to cooperate with Jesus to see outpourings of the Holy Spirit, which could lead to revival and the Next Great Awakening.

We are so excited and encouraged to see the outpourings of the Holy Spirit that are happening around the world! In just the past few months, Pentecost-like outpourings have taken place at PRMI events in the USA, Canada, UK, Korea, Czech Republic, and other locations. These are joining other streams of revival taking place at Asbury University and elsewhere and have the potential to become what many believe will be the Third Great Awakening.

This move of God that is taking place will overcome the enemy’s efforts to destroy biblical faith, establish demonic strongholds, and subjugate the world. The Lord is pouring out His Spirit and awakening His Church to advance the Kingdom of God. This is the promise of Acts 1:8—that the Holy Spirit would fall upon us, empowering us to be Jesus’ co-workers and witnesses. It is also the promise of Matthew 24:14 – that the Gospel of the Kingdom would go to all nations, paving the way for Jesus’ glorious return and the restoration of all things.

PRMI has been given the mandate of preparing for the Next Great Awakening in the Power of the Holy Spirit. The Lord has revealed to us the keys to preparing for, igniting, and sustaining outpourings of the Holy Spirit, and these may become revivals that lead to the Next Great Awakening.

• How do we prepare the altar?
• How do we ignite the fire?
• How do we sustain the flame?

This prayer and equipping event will provide the biblical and historical foundation for understanding how the Next Great Awakening fits into the global movements of the Holy Spirit, igniting the church to fulfill the Great Commission. It will help you understand how awakenings transform social structures as God the Father fulfills the prayer that Jesus taught us to pray: “Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”

During this event, we will focus on:

• Introducing the four biblical patterns for how God the Father is calling us to cooperate with Him in this season in order to prepare for, ignite, and sustain these outpourings of the Holy Spirit
• Praying in concert for outpourings of the Holy Spirit, starting with us.
• Discerning how Jesus Christ is calling and anointing us, as individuals or teams, to cooperate with Him in implementing these biblical and historically proven essentials for genuine, Kingdom-advancing revival
• Praying for and receiving the gifts and empowerment of the Holy Spirit for fulfilling the calling that Jesus has given us.

This equipping is intended for:

• Those whom the Lord is calling to create containers where outpourings of the Holy Spirit can take place
• Those called to pray and intercede for the Next Great Awakening
• Those whom Jesus is calling to be the catalysts who can help ignite the moves of the Holy Spirit
• Those whom the Lord has called to help facilitate these moves
• Those small teams are praying for outpourings of the Holy Spirit in their congregations and neighborhoods.

Participants will be enabled to apply these three phases of revival: preparing the altar, igniting the fire, and growing the revival into various venues and contexts, as well as incorporating the three R.A. Torrey essentials and the two Goforth foundations in order to establish ministry containers, which the Holy Spirit can use to empower and ignite revival and awakening.

This event will be held onsite at the Community of the Cross in Black Mountain, NC. It will start with supper on Monday, March 11th, and run through lunch on Wednesday, March 15th.

Cost and Registration

There is no cost for in-person attendance. Registration is required so that we can prepare in advance for the numbers. You will be invited to share in an offering to help cover the cost of the event and share in the vision of PRMI. Space is limited, though, so be sure to register today if you want to come in person!

Note: The meal package is prepared by caterers vs. volunteers thus unable to serve a variety of dietary choices. We plan to eat together, and you are free to bring your meals.

Offering

All events organized by PRMI are offering-based. During your event, you’ll be invited to share in the vision of PRMI and give an offering towards the ministry to advance our mission of equipping people to cooperate with the Holy Spirit.

Potential Teaching Topics

The final schedule of plenary and small group sessions is still being discerned but may include

• Understanding the R.A. Torrey three keys and the Goforth two foundations for igniting great revivals
• Creating containers or adapting PRMI programs for the three phases of preparing for outpourings of the Holy Spirit in your venture
• How is God calling PRMI to ignite moves of the Holy Spirit among the millennials and younger generations in captivity to woke culture?
• Providing healing and deliverance ministry as Jesus sends a healing revival.
• The work of high-level intercession and spiritual warfare in preparing the way for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit locally and globally
