The Dunamis Fellowship International met in January of 2020. In many ways it seems only a short time since we all gathered in Black Mountain for the Annual Dunamis Fellowship International gathering and the dedication of the Prayer House and re-dedication of the Log House.

Dear Friends,

Yet, so much has changed!

I am so thankful we could all gather in person then.

I truly believe the Lord is working powerfully in this season of “lockdown,” and I look forward to the time we will gather with you once again.

At our meeting, we experienced many amazing, surprising and blessed moments together.

After reflection, I would like to share just a few of them with you.

The Bible Study each morning was led by a different person:

Ben Torrey On A Word Looking Back

Ben helped us to look back at what God has done, and also helped us look forward to the future and future generations being impacted by what is taking place now in Kingdom advancement and preparation.

We grew thankful for the rising generation, full of hope and expectation.

We acknowledged there is wisdom and strength that comes from experience, struggles, failure and grief. That God is good and sees us through the darkest days.

Ben expressed that this is a time of bringing out treasures, old and new to give God glory.

Becki Neumann Led Us In A Word For 2020

Becki asked us the question, have we ever put up a tent outdoors somewhere? Stretched it out across the ground and put in the tent pegs that hold down the structure?

Becki shared with us this is a hard, messy job, with the possibility of the tent collapsing at any moment, if not anchored properly.

She declared that we are a not just a “motley crew,” but Jesus and His motley crew!

We pondered, why Jesus uses motley people to change the world?

Becki then focused us on a picture of a hyacinth – beautiful, but pot-bound.

A flower that would stop blooming and die unless its roots were broken apart. Then, spread out so that fresh soil could be added, and it could grow and flourish.

It can be painful, like a plant going into shock, when change happens, and it can be painful to say goodbye to the way things have been in the past.

But we also give thanks for what God is doing!

For the way we are at this turning point –this “treasure” we have been nurturing is now being revealed and taken out for the whole world to take part in.

Our goal is to ask questions like, “Lord, what is my part in all this? How are you calling me to support and enable this process? Are there things you are asking me to give up? Are there things I’m holding back?”

Please join in the invitation the Lord is giving to pray this into reality.

Jay Knoblock Gave Us A Word For The Future

Jay reminded us, the reason to expand our tent pegs is because more people need to be able to get inside the tent!

That God is the one expanding the tent and sometimes we need to be challenged with the question, “Do I want him/her in my tent?”

Our response is to say “Yes, Lord!”

To look up to Jesus and take intentional steps of divine obedience, one step at a time!

This particular session ended, with a prophetic act of actual tent pegs being given to each Regional Expression of the Dunamis Fellowship International and other components of our ministry.

Some of those pegs have already been planted across the world!

You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Acts 1:8 (NIV)

Our team located in Dunamis Europe, is discerning the question where to plant our tent peg as representatives of PRMI.

As we ponder questions like where to place the tent peg, in preparation for the time when we will set foot in mainland Europe once again?

The Lord is guiding us, and I look forward to sharing more in the future with you! And sending out a photograph of our team to you, when we actually plant the tent peg into the ground!

Moving Moments at the DFI 2020

The Lord acts powerfully to bring us closer together as a body!

It was moving to me to see the many denominational backgrounds we come from; Reformed, Catholic, Pentecostal, Charismatic, Evangelical and Messianic Jewish brothers and sisters in Christ from all around the world!

We came together, to seek forgiveness for past hurts, misunderstandings and rejections from denominational barriers.

I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them.” John 17:26 (NIV)

In the light of John 17 and one new humanity; we believed God for unity in the body of Christ.

That He would send us opportunities to pray together, to serve and witness together as we are empowered by the Holy Spirit to be living representatives of Jesus on this earth.
