PRMI is a bright light in the midst of a dark world. Their teaching on the work of the Holy Spirit and their dependence upon God's guidance through Him in everything they do makes a God follower like me want to lean in, listen, participate and support His work.
The Dunamis Ministry marries Biblical truth with practical experience in a safe, gentle atmosphere. I so appreciate that Dunamis leadership teams consistently model the Kingdom principle of dependence: on the Holy Spirit and on one another. God has used this ministry to grow my trust in the Holy Spirit's leading, ground me in Biblical truth, and increase my love for and desire to partner with His people.
Rev. Becki Neuman +
In 1993 my good Presbyterian convinced me to go to an event called “The Power of Prayer.” That sounded safe enough for this good Anglican girl to risk going. The first evening I experienced worship as I never had before. By the time I went home five days later, my life was transformed by the inner working off the Holy Spirit. I had met the person of Jesus face to face, experienced the glory of God, and been filled with the Holy Spirit.
Prior to coming to the event all I knew of the Holy Spirit could be summed up in the lines of Nicene Creed referencing Him. During our 8 hour drive home, my friend and I talked, trying to figure out what had happened to us! Through the ministry of PRMI and the Dunamis series, God has done a deep work in me, bringing healing and wholeness, enabling me to embrace a call to ordained ministry, run a youth camp, and pastor one church while planting another. I am truly experiencing the abundant life Jesus promises.
Rev. Earl Rutledge
PRMI has given me a systematic teaching on the work of the Holy Spirit that encourages me to cooperate with Him daily and in every area of my life.
My parents taught me about the fullness of the Holy Spirit and the importance of cooperating with Him. PRMI has given me a tool to use in teaching and training others in a complete, organized and practical manner. They have provided the right-hand / left-hand relationship of strong Biblical teaching and practical personal experience. How awesomely they work together as I cooperate with the Holy Spirit and co-labor with the Son in the work of Father to advance the Kingdom of God.
I first encountered PRMI/Dunamis teaching in the UK in 2001. The comprehensive Dunamis Project teaching on all aspects of the Person, work, empowerment and gifts of the Holy Spirit gave me an excellent framework for understanding what I was struggling to relate to experientially.
It changed my walk with Jesus and understanding of who I am in Him. The Christian life can be a difficult road to walk at times but I truly believe that walk can be more victorious if we are introduced to the 'full' Trinitarian Godhead - Father, Son and Holy Spirit. PRMI facilitates this!!
Rev. Dr. James Kearny
Just before his ascension, Jesus commended his disciples not to leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift his Father promised, which they had heard him speak about. For John baptized with water, but in a few days they would be baptized with the Holy Spirit.
The challenges of ministry in the Pacific Northwest drove me to reexamine these words. I needed more power to advance the kingdom of God in my context of radical doubt. PRMI provided me with a solid, biblical, Reformed basis for this essential equipping for ministry. Gradually, my life and ministry began to feel more like the Book of Acts. Depression and tears are giving way to joy and laugher.
In the late 1990’s, searching to know more about the Christian walk, God provided the PRMI teaching at a Dunamis Project to connect my head to my heart.
Set free from striving in my own strength, I now depend on the Holy Spirit for guidance in ministry. I have a deep passion for people to know and experience the love of Jesus through inner healing prayer, and for people to be equipped and empowered by the Holy Spirit to serve in the local church.
My Biblical worldview has expanded, Jesus has filled me joy and God has done immeasurable more than I can imagine, for which I am very grateful.
Rev. Phil Noordmans
God used PRMI and Dunamis to open my eyes to see and experience something that I totally missed in my Christian upbringing and in seminary, namely, what the Bible teaches about the empowering dimension of the Holy Spirit’s work in our lives today. Enriching! Life transforming!
I owe a deep debt of gratitude to my mentors and friends at PRMI.
Learning to understand the voice of the Holy Spirit and the guidance He offers opened up an entirely new chapter in prayers and serving God effectively. Learning to rely on the empowerment of the Holy Spirit freed me from simply “trying harder” to ministry that advanced the Kingdom and glorified the Father.
And the Lord used the Dunamis Project—the biblical training and the sensitive mentoring—to bring this to pass.
Words cannot express my gratitude. And I can’t help but think that eternity will be different as a result.
My understanding of the person and work of the Holy Spirit has grown largely through PRMI’s Dunamis courses and fellowship.
The Holy Spirit’s presence, His guidance, and His empowerment have been the inspiration, enabler, and protector for our “Great Adventure” to obey Jesus’ Great Commission and advance God’s Kingdom among unreached peoples in Central Asia.
Serving on the PRMI Board provides me an opportunity to give back to this wonderful organization that is being used mightily by our Lord.
My first encounter with PRMI teaching in 1996 brought me to a new level of freedom in Christ. This teaching on the person and work of the Holy Spirit has revealed essential aspects of the Gospel that had been obscured by denominational distinctions, traditions and secular world view infiltration. The knowledge that we can cooperate with the Holy Spirit brought a new dynamic of intimacy and effectiveness in Christian living and service. Intimacy with Jesus Christ is humbling and yet exhilarating as we see people set free and PRMI teaching being used global, in His kingdom expansion.
