As we move into the second week of this 40 days of prayer for PRMI, the focus shifts from the waterfall of prayer to quiet pools of prayer. These represent the opportunity of encountering Jesus Christ in times of quiet reflection. Again each day during this prayer watch there will be a new post centred around three themes of Praise, Reflect and Pray.
Day 8
Praise the Lord for who he is…
- The only God
I am the Lord, and there is no other; apart from me there is no God.
I will strengthen you, though you have not acknowledged me,

Reflect upon his Word: Isaiah 55:1–2(NIV)
1“Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money,
come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost.
2Why spend money on what is not bread, and your labor on what does not satisfy?
Listen, listen to me, and eat what is good, and you will delight in the richest of fare.
Pray as the Spirit leads…
- Lift up the work of Dunamis Fellowship Britain and Ireland
- Pray for Paul Stokes in his role as director
- Ask the Lord to bless those involved in planning and directing the Dunamis Project in the UK
- Pray for open doors for ministry and for favour with local congregations and denominations
