In this final week of the prayer watch, the focus for prayer is the waves of prayer. There is a westward movement of the Holy Spirit which began at Pentecost in Jerusalem and is now returning there. As believers interact with these waves of the Holy Spirit we see the work of the great commission being furthered and God’s kingdom advanced.
Each day during this prayer watch there will be a new post centred around three themes of Praise, Reflect and Pray.
Week 6: Waves of Prayer
Praise the Lord for who he is: My peace
The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus
Reflect upon his word: Psalm 24:5–10 (NIV)
5They will receive blessing from the Lordand vindication from God their Savior. 6Such is the generation of those who seek him, who seek your face, God of Jacob.,7Lift up your heads, you gates; be lifted up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in.8Who is this King of glory? The Lordstrong and mighty, the Lordmighty in battle. 9Lift up your heads, you gates; lift them up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in.10Who is he, this King of glory? The LordAlmighty— he is the King of glory.
