In this fifth week the focus of the prayer watch centres on the rivers of prayer. The work of prayer at the Community of the Cross does not remain in Black Mountain but reaches out to have a global impact in our world.

Each day during this prayer watch there will be a new post centred around three themes of Praise, Reflect and Pray.

Week 5: Rivers of Prayer

Day 33

Praise the Lord for who he is: The God of the whole world

For your Maker is your husband, the Lord of hosts is his name; and the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer, the God of the whole earth he is called. Isaiah 54:5 (ESV)

Reflect upon his word: Micah 4:3(NRSV)

3He shall judge between many peoples, and shall arbitrate between strong nations far away; they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more;

Pray as the Spirit leads…

  • Pray for the Dunamis Project 5: Spiritual Warfare and Kingdom Advancement
  • Pray that people will be equipped to stand firm against the enemy’s schemes of destruction
  • Praise God for the people who have been set free from various levels of demonization
  • Ask the Lord to renew a passion in the church to pray for the advancement of His kingdom

Please use the comments section to post your own reflections and prayers
