In this fifth week the focus of the prayer watch centres on the rivers of prayer. The work of prayer at the Community of the Cross does not remain in Black Mountain but reaches out to have a global impact in our world.
Each day during this prayer watch there will be a new post centred around three themes of Praise, Reflect and Pray.
Week 5: Rivers of Prayer
Day 32
Praise
Praise the Lord for who he is: The God of light
The Lord is my light and my salvation— whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life— of whom shall I be afraid? Psalm 27:1 (NIV)
Reflect
Reflect upon his word: Isaiah 49:6 (NIV)
6he says: “It is too small a thing for you to be my servant to restore the tribes of Jacob and bring back those of Israel I have kept. I will also make you a light for the Gentiles, that my salvation may reach to the ends of the earth.”
Pray
