In this fourth week the focus of the prayer watch centres on streams of intercession. The Lord calls us to pray for the needs of others around us in intercession and at times calls us to stand in the gap for a person or a situation.

Each day during this prayer watch there will be a new post centred around three themes of Praise, Reflect and Pray.

Praise

Praise the Lord for who he is: The God who bears our burdens

Praise be to the Lord, to God our Savior, who daily bears our burdens. Psalm 68:19 (NIV)

Reflect

Reflect upon his word: Ephesians 6:10–12 (ESV) 

¹⁰Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. ¹¹Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. ¹²For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places..

Pray

Pray as the Spirit leads…

• Pray for God’s blessing on the Kingdom Congregations initiative
• Thank the Lord for the team He is raising up to focus on equipping congregations
• Pray that this team would be inspired with ways to help congregations grow in their cooperation with the Holy Spirit
