In this fourth week the focus of the prayer watch centres on streams of intercession. The Lord calls us to pray for the needs of others around us in intercession and at times calls us to stand in the gap for a person or a situation.
Each day during this prayer watch there will be a new post centred around three themes of Praise, Reflect and Pray.
Week 4: Streams of Intercession
Day 23
Praise
Praise the Lord for who he is: He is faithful
Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments. Deuteronomy 7:9 (NIV)
Reflect
Reflect upon his word: Zechariah 12:10 (NIV)
10“And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication. They will look on me, the one they have pierced, and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for a firstborn son.
Pray
Pray as the Spirit leads…
- Lift up PRMI’s Growing the Church vision initiative
- Ask for God’s blessing upon the Growing the Church conferences, pray that they would equip, encourage and empower church leaders
- Pray that the Ignite weekends offered in churches would inspire and ignite people’s faith and experience of the Lord
- Pray for renewal and revival within the church, that the bride of Christ may be ready for her groom
