As we move into the second week of this 40 days of prayer for PRMI, the focus shifts from the waterfall of prayer to quiet pools of prayer.
These represent the opportunity of encountering Jesus Christ in times of quiet reflection.
Again each day during this prayer watch there will be a new post centred around three themes of Praise, Reflect and Pray.
Week 2: Quiet Pools of Prayer
Day 14
Praise
Praise the Lord for who he is: The bread of life
Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst. John 6:35 (ESV)
Reflect
Reflect upon his word: Luke 18:15-17 (NIV)
15People were also bringing babies to Jesus for him to place his hands on them. When the disciples saw this, they rebuked them.16But Jesus called the children to him and said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.17Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.”
Pray
