In 2019 one hundred people attended our Dunamis Fellowship International Annual Gathering.

It was really exciting to us that almost one quarter were attending for the first time, and many of those were under 45 years of age.

We also felt very connected with those who were able to join us through the wonder of live streaming, whether through our PRMI website, or on Facebook.

On the first full day it was so good to come together as a family and celebrate through Word and Sacrament.

This was led by Rebecca Modrzynski and Trevor Payton.

We concluded our time also with Holy Communion led by Nick Krantz and the Dunamis Fellowship Northwest U.S. team.

Both communion services were powerful and moving experiences.

Trevor was affirmed in his role as Executive Director of Dunamis Fellowship Canada during the event and will be commissioned at their annual gathering in March.

Other highlights from 2019:

Founding a new region! The Dunamis Fellowship Northwest US (DFNW-U.S.) as Nick Krantz was commissioned as the new Regional Director and the leadership team gathered around him. It was a very special moment!

The Seminar, “Men and Women in leadership together” was a practical session and looked at the key positives having men and women together in leadership but also covered the pitfalls and challenges.

Rev. Dave Westra was commissioned as Pioneer Developer for Kingdom Congregations – Equipping Congregations to embody, proclaim and advance the Kingdom of God in the Power of the Holy Spirit.

The Dunamis work in Europe was transitioned from being under the Dunamis Fellowship International to being under the oversight and direction of the Dunamis Fellowship Britain and Ireland.

Stephanie McClain and Susan Finck led the “Replacement Raisers: Mentoring leaders.” Susan and Stephanie embody what it means to be a replacement raiser: Being intentional in looking for future leaders, giving them places to grow and serve and releasing them to serve new team or take our place.

Updates were received on the Spanish and Russian Mobile Dunamis and other mission outreach work. Team represented were prayed over and encouraged in their work.

It is wonderful the way the Holy Spirit continues to lead the Dunamis Fellowship International to be about the work of mobilizing, equipping and deploying spirit empowered witnesses for Jesus Christ.

The Dunamis Fellowship International is a scattered, but sometimes gathered community.

It was a blessing to have these 5 days in January to gather and enjoy fellowship face to face.

The year of 2019 will have a focus on increasing the number of people who are participating in Sustaining the Flame, our monthly giving program to advance the mission of PRMI.

A special shout out to the four households at the 2019 meeting who took that step to start or renew their participation.
