Discover the difference....

Jesus promised that the Holy Spirit would energise our faith: the dynamic power of God at work in ordinary lives, enabling us to live like him. He put it like this:

"You are witnesses of these things. I am going to send you what my Father has promised; but stay in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high."
Luke 24:48-49

Dunamis is designed to help people experience and live in the reality of this promise. It provides a unique combination of inspired worship, systematic teaching, dynamic prayer, group-work and intentional debriefing, all focussed on nurturing participants' understanding and experience.

'Dunamis' (doo-nuh-miss) is simply the Greek word that is translated 'power', from which we get such words as 'dynamic' and 'dynamo'.
