This course is offered every other year at the Community of the Cross in Black Mountain NC and other locations as announced. Contact the PRMI office for an application form for the most recent course.
It is designed for those who have been through both the Healing and Spiritual Warfare Dunamis Projects and want to go deeper in healing ministry. The course is a year-long process that involves attending three workshops in Black Mountain, NC, mentoring by Dunamis Fellwoship faculty, reading recommended books on healing and deliverance, and practical, hands-on experience.
Mentoring Each student accepted into the year-long course will be assigned a mentor. These are men and women from the Dunamis Fellowship who have gifts in healing and deliverance ministry. The mentors will review the student’s work and give feedback each month. Face-to-face meetings may occur only at the workshops in North Carolina.
Practical Experience and Project One learns to cooperate with the Holy Spirit in Jesus’ ministry of healing and deliverance through practical experience. So all students are encouraged to be involved in healing and deliverance prayer ministry in their local church. They are also welcomed to be on ministry teams at PRMI events such as the Dunamis Project. This will need to be arranged with the Dunamis Project track coordinators. Each student will develop a project involving healing ministry in their local context. Some examples may be building a healing prayer team for the local congregation or leading ministry at a Dunamis Project event.
Reading and Study As preparation for the course, all students are required to read: Let Jesus Heal Your Hidden Wounds; Cooperating with the Holy Spirit in Healing and Deliverance Ministry, by Brad Long and Cindy Strickler and Receiving the Power by Brad Long and Doug McMurry. The Cost of the Course PRMI is a faith ministry. There is no tuition or registration fee for this course. Offerings will be taken at each gathering and donations will be accepted by mail throughout the year. Students are asked to give (or possibly raise support) to help meet the actual cost of this training program. This includes room and board, books and travel expenses for students to attend the two workshops and commissioning event. We estimate the cost to PRMI to be about US$3000 per student. This includes materials, overhead, support for the Director of the Dunamis Fellowship, and the expenses of the teachers and mentors. We invite you to give to make this possible for yourself or for others who may be called. There is a simple application process for this course.
