Each year, the members of the Dunamis Fellowship International meet for 5 days to pray and discern together what God has planned for the upcoming year. It is a time of re-connecting with old friends and meeting new ones.
Highlights of our time together in January 2012 included precious times in worship, deep healings through the ministry of the Walk at the COC, and wonderful fellowship throughout the week. We heard presentations about the Dunamis Institute (DI) and were introduced to the new web page (www.dunamisinstitute.org).

Introduction
The Dunamis Fellowship International (DFI) is a unique combination of a missionary society, a seminary faculty, and an intentional prayer community that enables us to meet the challenges of working for renewal and advancing the Gospel in the world today. These three aspects of the Fellowship are expressed through a variety of programs and ministries.
It is a missionary society in that a group of people are committed to the vision of fulfilling the Great Commission. Members of the society teach, preach, and witness to the gospel throughout the world. Our primary method of engagement in missions is through short-term teaching mission trips that equip national leaders for participation in the worldwide movement of the Holy Spirit for the advancement of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
It is a seminary faculty in that individuals are equipped for ministry through anointed teachers who present the biblical and theological foundations of ministry. These faculty have been trained throught the Dunamis Project and Advanced Ministry courses. The Dunamis Project has three dynamic teaching elements: 1) systematic teaching that is biblical and reformed, 2)"lab time" - intentionally moving from theory and teaching into practice of whatever is being taught, and 3) "debriefing" - rigorously paying attention to what the Holy Spirit is doing in our midst and learning to cooperate with the Holy Spirit.
It is an intentional prayer community in that the life and work of the Fellowship is grounded in prayer. The prayers of the members will be led by the Holy Spirit. Through prayer we grow in intimacy with God, receive anointing for ministry, and open doors for advancing the gospel.

The Dunamis Fellowship is a membership organization that requires a commitment to Jesus Christ as the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and the only way to God, the Father. Our commitment to following Jesus is expressed in an annual recommitment to Ten Tenets that define the mission and character of the Dunamis Fellowship.
Based on the commands of Jesus, the tenets provide us with a common vision that flows from the heart of God, creating the gift of fellowship that comes as Christians walk together in obedience to Jesus.

Dynamic Living is possible...
Jesus has not left us to struggle on in our strength. As He did with His disciples, Jesus tells us to wait on His promise:
"You are witnesses of these things. I am going to send you what my Father has promised; but stay in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high."
Luke 24:48-49
Our hope and joy is to see fellow believers living in the power of the Holy Spirit.
The promise is for you...
| Project Events, Ignite Events and Video Courses provide teaching designed to help you experience and live in the reality of this promise.
With a unique combination of inspired worship, systematic teaching, dynamic prayer, group-work and intentional debriefing, these events focus on nurturing your understanding and experience as you discover the power of the Holy Spirit working in you and through you.
